Update on the ‘True Crime: Fact or Fiction’

I just wanted to let everyone know that I’m still waiting for that publisher to let e know which way she is leaning. To be fair she said that it wouldn’t be until January when n she was able to read my submission. So, I’m not trying to push her with this I’m just a little nervous. I’m hoping that she likes the pages that I sent her and requests the whole manuscript. I’m also trying to manage my expectations. I keep telling myself that it only takes one to say yes. I just hope that she is the one. I believe in this book and I think it should be published.

I’m going to publish it myself if I have to. I’m also going to keep writing. I have another book waiting in the wings to be edited professionally. I’m starting a third book but my main concentration is getting True Crime: Fact or Fiction published first even if I have to do it myself. I love the book. It has been through many rewrites and I think with the right marketing it will be a beloved book by many.

I have several beta readers and they love the book. I have no reason to believe that it can’t be loved by a lot more people. I’m going to try and get it inside local book stores by going to talk to them myself. Several bookstores especially small bookstores will have a section in their store that showcases local authors. I thought that I would see if the local shops here have something like that. Maybe I could offer to do a book signing in their store. It might drum up some sales for me and their store.

I am determined to make this book a success and every book after that. I love to write weither it’s in this blog or working on another book. I think you will like the idea of my next book. It is unique from the others that I have written. It’s going to be a while because I’m trying to get these others published first. I hope that you can be patient with me. It can take a while to get a book out. I will keep you posted on what is going on with it. Happy reading!
